The rugged shirt pocket-size TranzPak 2 removable storage module offers the most advanced level of ruggedization, transportability and compact storage modularity in the Field-Ready arena.

The ultra low profile TranzPak 2 hot-pluggable storage module utilizes a standard 2.5″ SATA notebook drive, with options for spinning or solid state for the most demanding environments. Featuring a lightweight machined aluminum body with anti-corrosive nickel plating and a sturdy cam action insertion/extraction lever, the TranzPak 2 provides unprecedented protection for your deployed intelligence and media.

In addition, the TranzPak 2’s armored shell has interlocking ribs for secure stacking, a recessed rear connector port to protect cable connections, as well as a recessed label pad sized for standard Avery labels that allow for easy user identification labeling.

The TranzPak 2 works like any removable drive, but it’s compact size, ability to withstand abuse and storage capacity allow greater flexibility and efficiency in reproducing fielded settings in lab situations and vice versa. The TranzPak 2 storage module can be loaded with a full operating system and transported safely and conveniently.

As with all design initiatives from Z Microsystems, the TranzPak 2 module is universally interchangeable among the complete family of Z Microsystems' low profile workstations and servers including the ZX1, ZX2, ZX3, and MPU-COMx blade computing platforms.
