Z Micro's Rugged ZX Servers chosen for the MEADS program

Z Microsystems's rugged servers have been chosen for the deployed Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS)! In preparation for the MEADS project ZX Series Servers endured extensive vibration and environmental testing. The ZX Series are designed to meet MIL-STD-810G requirements for vibration, shock, humidity, and thermal operating range. For more information check out the Press Release linked above.

RTEV Interest at Navy League SAS Symposium!

Last week at the Navy League’s Sea, Air, & Space Symposium, Z Microsystems’ exhibited the capabilities of their intelligent FPGA architecture built into their ‘in-house’ video controller. Running two advanced algorithms in real-time significantly improves image quality and produces actionable live video information for our armed service personnel in any environment. The powerful full motion video opportunities and rugged design of our display lines and new handheld innovations were well received. A special thank you to everyone who took part in and attended our exhibit at The Quad-A convention last week in Nashville! Several Z Microsystems’ products were featured around the exhibit halls showcasing our latest developments in Real-Time Enhanced Video and ruggedized visual solutions. Jack Wade made an appearance, and quite an impression, eliciting his excitement about Z’s upcoming innovations and company direction to many of our country’s finest. Our RTEV and newly unveiled ruggedized mobile innovations were well received around the conference and we look forward to returning next year at the conference, which will be held in Dallas/Fort Worth.

This coming week will mark the return of the Sea, Air, and Space Symposium in National Harbor, Maryland from April 16-18. Bob Kopas, VP of Military Programs will be in attendance to highlight our ruggedized solutions for military fleet operations. With over 28 years of military experience as a US Navy Surface Warfare Officer, Bob will be demonstrating the unique advantages Z Microsystems has to offer fleet operations with interactive display technologies, Real-Time Enhanced Video, and the rugged computing power of servers and our blade computing systems.
